Congratulations on your election or selection into the Order of the Arrow! As a new Arrowman, you are now part of Scouting's National Honor Society.
What is the Order of the Arrow?
The Order of the Arrow (OA) is the honor camping society of the Boy Scouts of America. Founded in 1915, the OA has recognized Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives and have made a firm commitment to cheerful service.
Your Journey
As a new Ordeal member, you have taken the first step in your OA journey. Here is what comes next:
- Ordeal — You have completed your Ordeal and are now an Ordeal member of the Order of the Arrow
- Brotherhood — After 10 months of active service as an Ordeal member, you are eligible for Brotherhood membership
- Vigil Honor — The highest honor the OA can bestow, recognizing distinguished service
